The Pacific Chair by Vitra is an office chair by E. Barber J & . Osgerby, which is discreet in its design and yet highly functional. It convinces with its discreet and clear design language and the backrest, which is extended far downwards and conceals mechanical elements.

Synchronous mechanics and intuitive operation

The office chair is made of a stable five-star base made of polyamide or aluminium in polished or black with castors. The upholstery of the seat and backrest is made of polyurethane foam and can be covered with fabric or leather in a wide range of colours.
The armrests are either height-adjustable in various materials or fixed in die-cast aluminium. The cushions can be selected to match the upholstery.
The height-adjustable backrest and armrests run in the same vertically aligned profile. The synchronous mechanism automatically reacts to the weight of the respective user and initially provides him with a maximum of individual comfort. All control elements are discreetly hidden and intuitive to operate.
