The Eames ESU Bookcase by Vitra is a true design classic of the post-war era. In 1949, designers Charles and Ray Eames developed a novel system of freestanding, multifunctional shelving units designed for industrial series production.

Together with the Eames Office and the Dutch designer Hella Jongerius, a new edition of the shelves has been created which, thanks to their careful selection of colours, appear fresh and contemporary and yet radiate the charm of the 1940s and 1950s. The colour-coordinated shelves are available in different heights, from sideboards to high bookshelves.

Various open spaces offer the opportunity to showcase books and other decorative accessories, while drawers and sliding doors also allow things to be stowed away outside the field of vision.
