A characteristic feature of the Aluminium Chair is the intelligent combination of materials. The upholstery is fixed and freely tensioned in the lateral aluminum profiles. This means that the cover is not a shell, but becomes a load-bearing part of the construction. It adapts to the body and offers a high level of comfort, even without elaborate upholstery. In contrast to the other products of Aluminium Group , the EA 117 and EA 119 chairs have castors on the feet.
