Originally designed for the private home of an art collector, Charles & Ray Eames’ Aluminium Chairs have found their way around the world as true classics of the 20. Century. The designer couple left the principle of the seat shell in the construction of the chair and stretched a fabric or leather track tightly but resiliently between two aluminium side panels. The Aluminium Chair EA 101 adapts to the body and offers high comfort, even without elaborate padding.

With these features, the EA 101 office chair is equally suitable for offices, public spaces and the private sector. The Aluminium Chair EA 101 is ideal for use at the table: it is narrower than the other Aluminium Chairs, the sitting position is more upright and slightly higher. The EA 101 is ideal for the private dining room, for restaurants or for meeting areas in the office.
