Comfortable sofa with generous cushions

Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou, the founders of the design studio Space Copenhagen, wanted to create a piece of furniture with the FLY sofa that combines sculptural elements and extraordinary comfort. And they succeeded in doing just that: For & Tradition, the Danish design team created a sofa with generous proportions that invites you to linger in a relaxed atmosphere and at the same time convinces with its striking appearance.

Sculptural backrest

The frame of the backrest consists of numerous wooden slats, whose organic shape and special construction create a reference to traditional craftsmanship. Due to the noble rear view the sofa can also be placed free-standing in the room without any problems. Made of smoked oak, the sofa frame has a natural look, which is given a modern touch by the generous cushions.

Elegant lounge character

The upholstered cushions lend the sofa an elegant lounge character that maintains the balance between tradition and innovation. The loose cushions also allow the user to find a comfortable sitting position.
With a width of 162 cm, the FLY sofa from & Tradition can be integrated into existing seating arrangements in the living room, for example, but can also find its place in the hallway or kitchen.
