The 118 MF armchair by Sebastian Herkner for Thonet is a modern and at the same time filigree chair, which in its form is reminiscent of the classic bentwood chairs from Thonet and with its subtle elegance makes for an eye-catcher at any dining table. The principle of reducing a chair to as few components as possible was already introduced by Michael Thonet in the middle of the 1 9. century.

Curved seat frame and extensive armrests

The timeless 118 MF armchair refers in its form of the curved seat frame to the 214 bentwood chair. The chair gets new elements through its legs. Rounded on the back and straight on the inside, the chair legs take on the horseshoe shape of the seat. In addition, there is a wide and inviting armrest, which makes sitting in the model particularly comfortable. 118 MF particularly comfortable.
