Unique, individual and practical – Stacked is a modular shelving system designed by JDS Architects for Muuto . Stacked is available in different colours. Within each colour, Muuto offers three different sized modules that can be freely combined to create the exact shelving unit needed.

According to designer Julien De Smedt, the aim of the development of Stacked was to design a shelving system that is both generalist and specific. Behind this is the problem that conventional shelving is either tailored exactly to their future inventory (such as file folders), or offer suitable compartments for “everything and nothing”.

The storage compartments of the Muuto Stacked were designed to accommodate different sizes of items and accessories, which were then combined with each other. The result is a shelving system that is as exclusive as it is practical, providing efficient storage for a variety of items.
