The Chess Table by Front for Moooi is a clever side table with two functions. The table is not only good as a decoration, but with its chess pattern, it also invites to have some playful moments.

Sculptural Design Object

The chess pattern can be found not only on the desktop, but it extends across the entire table down to the feet. Even the bottom sides are covered in the chess pattern. This makes the table an extraordinary and almost sculptural design and art object – typical of the Swedish design collective Front.

The Chess Table by Moooi consists of an internal steel frame, a varnished wooden leg and a table top in varnished MDF.
