Kartell – Spoon Bar Stool, White

Spoon is a modern and original barstool from the Italian manufacturer Kartell. Antonio Citterio and Toan Nguyen designed the stool. Spoon stands out thanks to its curved shape and perfectly finished round edges and is ideal as a work stool for the kitchen, as a barstool or as a special eye-catcher in public spaces.

Kartell manufactures the Spoon barstool from polypropylene that has been dyed throughout. The special something: the seat shell is cast in a single piece, which guarantees the seamless appearance of the many curves.

The connection between the seating surface and the middle foot is created by a reinforced curve, which guarantees flexibility and comfort and also contributes considerably to the Spoon stool’s appearance. The seat height of the Spoon barstool can be varied between 56 and 76 centimetres thanks to the gas-lift height adjustment. Kartell places the gas spring out of sight in the stool’s base.

Even the handle to adjust the height has been completely integrated into the design by Antonio Citterio and Toan Nguyen: It’s located almost invisibly under the stool’s seating surface.Kartell rounds out the curvy design of the Spoon stool with a colourful colour palette.The stool is available in the colours red, white, black, orange and aluminium.
