The Crate side table from the house Hay is one of the classics that have been reissued. The Crate collection of Dutch architect and designer Gerrit Rietveld, was designed in 1934. The goal was to use surplus wooden crates for transportation. The Crate side table was produced with a strong focus on the original design and features the same, extremely precisely balanced proportions. The transparent construction allows for a streamlined assembly process. The low table legs, square table top and diagonal cross braces give the table its simplicity. Crate is made of solid pine wood and thanks to its water-based paint finish, the lounge chair can be placed both indoors and outdoors. Available in different colors.
