The BM0488 coffee table by Carl Hansen is a soulful, free-standing design piece that was originally designed by Børge Mogensen in 1958. Now Carl Hansen & Søn is reintroducing the versatile design of the coffee table, which radiates natural well-being in entrance halls, living rooms and bedrooms – whether as a table or a flat bench.

The multifunctional piece of furniture is part of Mogensen’s “building furniture” concept – durable furniture that can be supplemented and adapted over time in response to changing needs and living situations. With a double braided surface, the durable and decorative design will look beautiful for many generations to come.

The coffee table is made of solid, oiled oak heartwood with rounded edges and a seat made of double-woven wicker.
