A simple side table with built-in storage for magazines, remote controls, chocolate or whatever you need in the living room; that’s the idea behind the Turning Table by Audo. The German designer Theresa Arns wanted to design a side table which has versatile uses thanks to its size and storage function.
The Turning Table functions superbly at home, next to the sofa in the living room or as a bedside table for books, magazines and handkerchiefs. The Turning Table with its elegant design is also in good hands when it is in foyers, relaxed seating areas, waiting rooms, cafés or restaurants. Elegant opening mechanism
The storage under the table top is elegant to open, when you turn the top around one of the legs.
The metal rods stabilise the construction and complement the wooden table. The Turning Table consists of white oak with diagonal brass struts or dark ash with diagonal copper struts.
“I believe that I design very functionally,” said Theresa Arns. “But I also find it very important that all the things we surround ourselves with also have a warm and poetic side. I like working with different materials and spend a lot of time combining them with each other. I always try to design simple objects which tell a story.”
