Artek presents the Domus chair, a well-known and popular piece of seating furniture among design lovers, which was designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara as early as 1946. The Finnish designer named the chair after a student dormitory in Helsinki, for which he had originally created it. Today, the Domus chair is produced by Artek as part of the Tapiovaara Family Collection.

Domus is produced in various designs and is available in different versions and colours. Optionally, the chair can be purchased alone with upholstered seat or additionally with upholstered backrest.
